The Surf City 10 5K is your perfect slice of the SoCal coast, short, scenic, and packed with that unmistakable Huntington Beach energy.
The route unfolds along the palm-lined Pacific Coast Highway, where ocean breezes, crashing waves, and endless horizons keep every step light and inspiring.
EVENT INFORMATION
Packet pick-up will take place at the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza, located at 401 CA-1, Huntington Beach, CA 92648.
Please find the approximate aid station locations below:
Mile 2
Water and an Electrolyte will be provided at all aid stations along the course.Gear check will be available for all 5K participants.
Gear check will be located in the second level of the parking lot adjacent to the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza.
Clear, plastic bags, will be available at Packet Pick-up for use at the Gear Check tent. All items must be placed in this clear bag. Please attach the gear check tag on your bib to your clear plastic bag using the provided cable ties.
Gear check will open to drop off bags at 5:30am and all items must be retrieved no later than 10:30am. Please do not check valuables.
Gear is checked at your own risk. The race is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged bags.All 5K participants aged 21 years of age or older receive (1) complimentary beer following the race. The Post-Race Beer Garden will be held in the Race Expo from 7:30am – 10:30am. All friends and family (21+ years or older) are welcome to attend. Additional beer will be available for purchase.
All 5K participants must complete the race in under 75 minutes. Participants falling behind this pace will be moved ahead to finish the race.
The top 3 male and female finishers in the 5K will receive an overall award.
The 3 top male and female finisher in each age group in the 5K will receive an award.

14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
If you place 1st in your age group, you will receive additional information on how to receive your age group award towards the end of September. If you place 2nd or 3rd in your age group, your award will be shipped upon request, by emailing: info@surfcity10.com
