NEW in 2024! Join hundreds of runners and run a mile in the famous sands of Huntington Beach. With the Pier looming large in the background, get your feet a little sandy as you take on the challenge of running one mile in the sand!

Hang 10 Challenge!
Pair your Beach Mile with any distance on Sunday (10 Miler, 10K, or 5K) and earn EXTRA bling! All participants that run two races will earn a special, “Hang 10 Challenge” medal.

PARKING
There are multiple parking options in Huntington Beach. Review the Parking page of our website for updated information.
AID STATIONS
There will not be an aid station on-course during the Beach Mile but post-finish refreshments will be available. Please be sure to bring your own water if you believe you will need it during the race.
GEAR CHECK
Gear Check is not offered during the Beach Mile. Given the adjacency of the race to the Beach Parking Lots, participants can leave items in their vehicles during the race if needed.
POST-RACE BEER GARDEN
All Beach Mile participants aged 21 years of age or older receive (1) complimentary beer following the race. The Post-Race Beer Garden will be held in the Race Expo (hours TBA). All friends and family (21+ years or older) are welcome to attend. Additional beer will be available for purchase.
COURSE TIME LIMIT
The Beach Mile has a course time limit of 45 minutes.
AWARDS
There are no awards for the top finishers of the Beach Mile however, every finisher will receive a medal upon completion of the race!
All courses start and finish on Pacific Coast Highway at Main Street in front of Pier Plaza.
